These terms (version 2026-10-24) apply to everyone who uses HumanFirstJobs. By creating an account you agree to them.

The no-AI rule

Employers may not use artificial intelligence, machine learning or automated decision software to screen, rank, score, reject or interview applicants who apply to jobs posted on HumanFirstJobs. Employers may use AI to write their own job descriptions and messages. The no-AI policy is part of these terms.

Employers confirm this rule each time they publish a job. Verified reports of AI use lead to warnings, then suspension of the employer account.

Employer accounts

• You must be authorized to hire for the company you post for.
• Jobs must be real, open roles with an honest salary range.
• You must reply to every applicant by the date shown on the job.
• You may not collect fees from applicants or post jobs that are illegal where they are based.

We may hold, edit or remove jobs that break these terms.

Payments

Posting is free right now. Before we start charging, we will email employers and update the pricing page. Charges will go through Stripe, only to a card you add yourself.

Job seeker accounts

Searching and applying are free. You must give truthful information in your profile and applications. Reports of AI use must be honest and based on your own experience; false reports may close your account.

Our role

We are a job board. We do not employ applicants, and we do not guarantee that any job is filled or any applicant is hired. We are not liable for hiring decisions made by employers.

Appeals and contact

Employers may appeal a suspension within 14 days from their dashboard. For anything else, write to [email protected].

Changes

When these terms change we update the version above, and ask you to accept the new version the next time you sign in.
