Posting your first job
Set up your company, write the job, make the no-AI promise and publish.
Updated
1. Set up your company
Sign up, then add your company's name, website and a short description on the Company page. When you enter your website, we read your site's description and app icon and offer them as a starting point. You can change anything.
2. Write the job
Every job on HumanFirstJobs shows:
- a salary range (the top can be at most 2 times the bottom)
- the named person who reads applications
- how many stages your hiring process has and how long it takes
- the date by which every applicant hears back: within 7, 14 or 21 days
Descriptions need at least 150 words. You can take applications on HumanFirstJobs or link to your own careers page, and save a draft at any time.
3. Make the no-AI promise
Before you publish, tell us which applicant tracking system you use. If it's a third-party system, confirm its AI ranking, screening and interview features are switched off. Then confirm that a person, not AI, will review every application and run every interview. Read hiring without AI for what to switch off.
4. Publish
Posting is free right now, so publishing doesn't cost anything.
Your job goes live straight away if your company has a verified domain and the job passes our automated checks. Otherwise a person reviews it first, usually within one business day. Every job stays live for 30 days.
Still stuck? Write to [email protected] and a person will reply.
